Rock Dumper

We offer heavy-duty Rock Dumper wagons designed for trucking boulders with a maximum size of 1.5 meters in large fractions and narrow spaces. A Rock Dumper underground wagon can transport boulders up to 1500 mm long with two axles. This wagon is designed for bottom discharge and loading and has a discharge capacity of 17,000 tonnes per hour.

Underground mines with small drifts can benefit from this compact solution. An iron ore mine's Rock Dumper wagon has a width of 2056 mm and a height of 1825 mm. Depending on your needs, these dimensions can be adjusted. Because of the mechanical design, there is a limited amount of waste between wagons without advanced automation. A train set of up to 25 wagons can run with a single locomotive.

Rock Dumper System Concept

With our WRC System®, we can change wear plates as thin as 10 mm instead of the usual 25 to 30 mm, allowing us to lower the tare weight of the wagon. The steel we use is ultra-high-strength, and the wear plate system is high-performance.

The system's flexibility allows us to determine precisely which wear plate is suitable for your fraction and mineral. Additionally, the rock dumper wagon is designed to make it easy to change and service chevrons, bearings, and wheels. Tires and rims are standard truck components in the propulsion unit.
