Traffic Control Boom

ADOR Tech, with the help of its international partners, designs, manufactures and supplies a full range of Traffic Control Booms that are used to create a safety barrier to prevent even the smallest of craft from passing through. They are ideal for nearshore applications, waterways, marinas, private water bodies, and nature reserves.

The traffic control booms can be assembled rapidly using simple tools. Due to the weight and size of the TCB modules, there is little possibility that the traffic control boom can be lifted by hand to permit passage underneath them. Fixed freeboard and buoyancy prevent the tubes from submerging, making it impossible for craft to pass over them.

Standards:

• Floats are virtually unsinkable since their closed-cell polyurethane foam filling ensures complete buoyancy even if the outer skin is damaged in a collision.
• The floats are molded in one piece and are not separable.
• The quality polyethylene material used for the outer skin is highly resistant to the damaging effects of UV light and color fade over time, ideal for applications in high UV environments.
