Log Screen Boom

ADOR's Log Screen Booms help maintain power generation at some of the world's major hydro dams.

Log Screen Boom

ADOR's Log Screen Booms help maintain power generation at some of the world's major hydro dams, where the amount of floating debris is exceptional with serious consequences for the failure of the power plant.

The mesh screens are joined together to provide a seamless barrier for logs and debris with full articulation between units. Each mesh screen is easily attached to the underside of the booms via specially designed swivel connectors. Customized end connections are also available to allow the boom to follow changing water levels.

Models:

LSB600/ LSB800/ LSB1000

Standards:

  • The unique tubular backbone and lug connections make the log screen boom immensely strong.
  • The booms are designed for continuous motion and heavy loads.
  • UV-stabilized polyethylene floats with solid PU foam filling are highly resistant to impacts and maintain full buoyancy even in the rare occurrence of being damaged, punctured, or cracked.

Applications:

Help maintain power generation at major hydro dams, where the amount of floating debris can be exceptional.
